Ash Before and After

So I finally got Ash back, unfinished as I asked, but he was in no condition to finish. I had to do a full remount of him, including unstuffing his body and restitching the holes he had in his body too.

It took me an hour and a half just to sew up the holes in his face and ears that were previously left alone. Luckily he rehydrated just fine and came off the form like butter, due to a lack of hide paste and roughing. The form was completely unusable(eye places cut apart, lipline made an inch wide, huge chunks cut off in back for earliners), so I had to use a spare red fox form I had lying around and edit it to his face.

Luckily he's mounted now, and I'll finish him up once I get all of my customer's mounts done. The only reason I mounted him instead of working on a customer's mount is because I couldn't stand to see him looking like someone's first mount done with paper mache and clay. Ash means the world to me; He's my most precious pelt and mount.
