Buddy

I got a new dog! Our oldest dog died just a few months ago. Sabrina, our black lab, was lonely. She would sit outside my door almost all day and night. So today we went to the shelter and looked at the dogs they had. Most were too hyper, or they were pitbulls. We can't really have a pit here. Then we found buddy. He's a 7 month old german shepherd rottweiler mix. He has such a sweet personality and he likes dogs. We introduced him to cats. He seems to think they're toys. xD

Any tips on how to get Sabrina to like him? She's a ten year old black lab. She wasn't very friendly to start. She growls if Buddy comes near her. My idea is to have Buddy next to my brother on one couch, and Sabrina next to me on the other, and trade off every once in a while. Just sitting watching tv, with both dogs on leashes.
